Located in Malaga’s Alameda Principal, this newly constructed residence came to us completely unfurnished. The challenge lay in transforming this new build into a warm, inviting, and truly livable space.

Our work focused on a complete interior design and decoration project including furnishings, lighting, and styling, where custom textiles, textured wallpapers, and a balanced contrast of materials seamlessly connect each space to create a calm, welcoming atmosphere.

Entrance: Warmth and First Impressions

Upon entering the residence, our goal was to ensure an immediate transition from outdoors into a serene, welcoming ambiance that inspires calm. To soften the hallway's linear feel and enhance the sense of openness, we selected an asymmetrical mirror backed by oak wood, beautifully enhanced by natural light to bring dynamism to the space.

We paired the arrangement with a minimalist wall-hung wooden console with a black metal structure, an organic curved coat stand, and subtle color accents using dark green marble trays and candleholders, combined with soft accent lighting that enhances the entryway without crowding the passage.

Living Area and Urban Terrace: Comfort, Functionality, and Contrast

For the living room, we sought a comfortable and functional space that maximized every corner, as it also doubles as a dining area. We chose a generous off-white sofa with adjustable headrests, dressed with subtle botanical cushions and a sage green throw that adds freshness and echoes the plants on the terrace.

As the centerpiece, we selected a lift-up coffee table featuring a black marble-effect porcelain top with gold veining. It introduces a bold contemporary contrast against the lighter furnishings while seamlessly adapting to daily needs for dining or working. On the wall, a trio of geometric textile artworks rounds out the room, maintaining chromatic harmony.

The terrace was designed as a natural extension of the interior, seamlessly linked to both the living room and bedroom through large sliding glass doors. Making the most of the height and abundant light overlooking Malaga's Alameda Principal, we created a laid-back corner ideal for having breakfast in the sun or unwinding at sunset.

We selected a high-top table set in oak and black metal paired with ergonomic upholstered stools, alongside corner greenery and a trio of wooden swallows adorning the wall that nod to the Mediterranean spirit. The lattice screens gently diffuse the sunlight, casting ever-changing shadows throughout the day.

Master Bedroom: An Intimate Haven

In the bedroom, we aimed for an intimate, serene, and calming suite-like feel. The room's focal point is the headboard wall, dressed in a textured vinyl wallcovering whose subtle green hues echo the century-old treetops of Alameda Principal, warmly capturing the glow of the pendant lights.

To keep the nightstands uncluttered, we installed a pair of conical pendant lights in matte black and natural wood. A curved-profile upholstered headboard and washed linen bedding complete a room conceived for ultimate relaxation.

From our interior design studio, we pay meticulous attention to the drape and texture of fabrics. Bespoke curtains and shades made from natural fiber blends softly diffuse exterior light and cocoon the room. It is precisely these tailoring details and rich textures that lend depth, harmony, and comfort to the bedroom.
